For years I have struggled with my way of studying the Bible. There are a lot of hard words especially in the King James Version that I was raised on as the only Bible to use. Due to the wording, it can also be very hard to understand. Over the past few months, I have started verse mapping, and it has really helped me and helped to open my heart because I am fully understanding. There is no right or wrong way! However, I personally enjoy using the ESV Bible. I find that it is the easiest for me to break down but still doesn’t deviate to far from what I was raised on. For verse mapping I use the ESV, KJV, and NLT because I like to see how different the verses and language ranges. The notes that are included are just my personal notes! They are my perceptions only and what I believe the verses to be saying to me.
